The Choker Dress

Hey lovelies

I feel like I'm probably really late to the bandwagon with this one, but one of the big styles out there at the moment is the choker.  Making a comeback from the 90s, this cool yet elegant accessory has been filling the shops in lots of different styles and colours. I didn't quite feel brave enough to go for a full choker, so I went for something a little easier; the choker dress, and Missguided have such an amazing range!

I really love this dress because it's such a flattering shape and the high neck/plunge neckline makes it look so elegant, it's hard to not look good in it. I also really like the pastel mauve colour which makes it perfect for this time of year.

Because I wanted to keep the whole colour scheme really light, I went for these gorgeous white heels. I have featured them on my blog before because I just love them so much, they are the ideal spring/summer heel.

Backless Bodysuits and Side Split Skirts

Hey lovelies

It's no secret that I'm a lover of pink, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with combining two different shades of pink to create the ultimate pink-on-pink outfit. Today, I am showcasing two of my favourite tones, including this gorgeous pastel pink; I am so happy that we are well into spring so I can fully immerse myself in all of the wonderful pastel colours.

I have been a little bit obsessed with bodysuits as they are super easy to style and there are just so many of them around! Pretty Little Thing is my current go-to place for bodysuits as they have such a large collection of different styles and colours so they usually have what I'm looking for, and this nude backless number is absolutely gorgeous.

The side split skirt is something I discovered last summer and I have been looking forward to this spring/summer season when its warm enough to get my legs out again. It's such a feminine and flattering style that can easily be styled up or down, depending on what you team it with. This combination of bodysuit, skirt and lace up heels creates the perfect evening outfit in my eyes.

Casual Kicks and Bomber Js

Hey lovelies

I hope you are all having a lovely spring - I can't believe that it is already April?!

Today's post showcases yet another bomber jacket, and more khaki - this one is from the new Megan McKenna collection at MissPap and it is super comfy. It is nice and warm but is not too bulky at the same time, and I love the orange lining on the inside! It is also set apart from other khaki bomber jackets by the zip detailing across the back and down the arms.

I teamed it with my new black bodysuit which has become a favourite of mine - I only got it a couple of weeks ago but have already worn it at least 3 times!! It is such a simple design but the zip at the front and the low cut back allows it to be a bit of a statement piece. And because it is black, it goes with pretty much anything.

I wanted to brighten my outfit up a little bit, and who can go wrong with some ripped skinny jeans?! I've had these white ones for over a year now and I have to say they've been a bit of a lifesaver. The bomber jacket and leather body creates a bit of a biker look, and I think the ripped skinnies compliments that.

I finished off this look with my favourite kicks of the moment; my white Superstars. I wear them so often, I just had to get them on my blog again!

Spring Style

Hey lovelies

We have had some glorious weather recently and I've been getting so excited because summer is on it's way! There was no post from me last weekend as it was my birthday and Easter so I was busy spending quality time with my boyfriend and my family - I got an extortionate amount of chocolate and I have been (rather quickly!) making my way through it. The quicker I get through it, the quicker I can start eating healthily again right?!

The arrival of spring means that I can start to bring the brighter wardrobe out, and my goodness am I excited to so. The lighter colours, floral patterns and shorter clothes, all bring promises of better weather. So I'm kicking it all off with this beautiful floral 2 in 1 dress.

As you may be aware, I am a massive girly girl so I love to wear skirts and dresses for so many different occasions, and this dress is no exception. It's such a simple and effortless outfit but it creates a look that is both fun and classy. The cream vest top makes it so easy to accessorise, whilst allowing the skirt to be the statement piece. It is brought in at the waist  creating a super flattering look, and the mini skirt design lets you show off a bit more skin for a sassy style.

I teamed it with these cute lace up heels which scream summer, and I decided to go for white to keep in line with the simple colour scheme.
