Playhouse

Hey lovelies

So last weekend I went home to visit and it was so nice to just relax and see my family! It also gave me time to stock up on blog pictures, especially as my Dad (my photographer) got a new camera for his birthday so he wanted to give it a whirl.

Today's look comes from Pretty Little Thing's newest collection 'Playhouse' which is gleaming with summery styles, sassy slogans and cute boho. It goes by the slogan:

"Welcome to the Playhouse, where we don't play by the rules. There may be trends, but if we ain't making 'em, we're breaking 'em, because style knows no boundaries. Take inspiration from those long, hot, Californian nights and mix and match to make the most of the summer season. Take it tropical, say it with a slogan, add a little extra and dress it any way you want...it's time to come and play."

And I can already tell that quite a few of the items will end up on my blog sooner or later! Starting with this gorgeous vibrant dress that just screams *PARTY*. The material is thick but stretchy, making it super comfortable to wear. I just had to team it with my new Public Desire beauties! I have been after these tassled heels for a while so when I finally got my hands on them, I was one happy girlie.

Multiway Mini

Hey Lovelies

I have finally got my MacBook fixed! Thank you for being patient - for those of you not aware, my laptop charger decided to stop working a couple of weeks ago so I have been struggling on without my laptop since then! I guess it just kind of proves how regularly I use it haha.

So this is the post I originally wanted to get up last week, but better late than never! I am styling up this beaut Missguided mini dress, and what I love about it is that it's a multiway dress. I used to wear a lot of halterneck tops when I was younger so it was great to try that style out again. The material is so soft and light so it would be perfect for summer evenings, or those slightly cooler days.

I slightly prefer the cross-over style as I feel rather exposed in the other one but I do like the versatility of this dress. I teamed it with my fave In The Style heels which are so lovely and comfy!

I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend!

Suiting Up

Hey Lovelies

I'm not a massive suit-wearer, in fact, I don't think I've ever worn one. However, I have decided that I would try out different styles, and being a fashion blogger is the perfect way for me to do that.

You may be aware that I love a coord, and this being a trouser-jacket combo I thought it just looked so elegant but with a touch of sass. Plus it's pink! I love the cigarette fit of the trousers which makes them so flattering, and the jacket is nice and heavy so it sits really well on your shoulders. The pockets are fake though which is a little annoying, so you'd definitely have to carry a bag, but accessories can add to an outfit so it's not all bad! I teamed this look with a white crop top and white heels to keep this outfit looking neutral.

Wildfires and Dreams Take 2

Hey Lovelies,

It's my 100th post!!!! Since I started my blog in 2012, my style has changed quite a lot, starting out as a beauty blogger, taking a short break then coming back as a fashion blogger. I feel like I've really found my area in the blogging world and even though I don't have thousands of followers, I really enjoy sharing all my favourite things to you guys, so thank you for sticking around! Here's to the next 100 posts!!

Today I am styling up another piece from the Lucy Mecklenburgh range 'Wildfires and Dreams' from Pretty Little Thing. You may have read my previous post (here) where I expressed my love for the entire collection, and that definitely does not exclude this beaut floral kimono! From the stunning bright colours to the soft silky fabric, I feel like I could live in this.

The kimono/jeans combo is something I'm really loving at the moment so I picked out my acid wash jeans, along with my simple white crop top - theres no need for many other colours when you've got such a bold kimono on!

I finished off this look with my amazing lace up heels, which really speak for themselves.

I hope you are having a fab weekend!
