ITSBYLP SS15

Hey Lovelies

Just a quick one from me today. When In The Style released their new Lauren Pope SS15 range (ITSBYLP), I was instantly in love with the whole collection. A mix of blues, oranges, pastels and monochrome fill the page, it took a lot to restrain myself from buying one of everything! After a lot of umming and ahhing, I finally decided on this beaut coord - you know I love my coords. The digital blue colour really stands out, and the split down the side makes it just a bit different. The material has a really nice silky feel to it, while it fits really well. The only problem is when you have long legs like me, you have to be cautious that the heels you wear aren't too big! Worn together and with heels, this coord creates a bold but elegant look, however, team it with some flip-flops or sandals, and you have the perfect casual beachy style.

The LBD

Hey Lovelies

A short little hump day post for you all, and today I share with you this lovely dress from a brand which I am constantly looking on but never seem to buy anything! This little black dress is from AX Paris, a brand I am sure you are all familiar with. And every girl needs an LBD in her wardrobe, there will always be an occasion that it is suitable for. This dress is fairly tight but comfortable, and the midi length adds a touch of class. I teamed it with my favourite Missguided heels to create a look appropriate for going out for cocktails with the girls or going out for a meal with the boyfriend.

Hope you are all having a fantastic week

Spring is in the air!

Hey Lovelies

A little Thursday post for you all, and today, I've gone casual! I realise that quite a lot of my posts are more dressed up, which I totally don't mean to do. This pretty combination is ideal for the multi-seasonal weather we often experience around this time and I am totally loving floral patterns right now. This outfit would be perfect for meeting up with friends for lunch, a stroll in the park, or anything for that matter! I love the loose boyfriend fitting of this coat as it's just perfect for throwing over an outfit for an extra bit of warmth. I previously thought that having a coloured coat would be restrictive to pair with, however, I find I can wear it with pretty much anything and is fast becoming my go-to coat.

And oh-em-gee how totally awesome are these jeans?! I saw them in a picture on Instagram and just knew that I had to have them. They are literally perfect for this time of year, I just love the cute detailing of them. So different from any other pair of jeans I own - and a girl can never have too many pairs of jeans right? The shoes are also an Instagram discovery of mine, I seem to have developed an obsession with detailed items. They are so comfy to wear, and go with pretty much everything. They would definitely work with a more dressed up outfit too!

Hope you are all having a fantastic week!

Pretty in Peach

Hey Lovelies

Oh my goodness hasn't the weather these last few days been glorious! I have been absolutely loving it! I hope you all had a fab Easter and bank holiday weekend, unfortunately I am back at uni now and spending all day in the library so I don't get to be in the lovely sunshine. Before I came back though, I did manage to take a few outfit pictures so I will be sharing them with you in the coming weeks. Starting off with this beautiful dress from In The Style.

I got this for my birthday night out a few weeks ago but wanted to make a full blog post about it rather than just share it as an Instagram feature. The dress is a lovely pale peach colour and is slightly textured, so not just a simple bodycon, of which I have so many. The cage detail at the top of the dress brings the outfit more to life which I love. I wore this dress with my old nude New Look heels to keep the whole outfit quite neutral. A pop of colour can then be added with a bag or a jacket.

I hope you like this look!

Cradle Back

Hey Lovelies

For those of you who didn't know, it was my 21st birthday last week, and I had a super amazing time. I got spoilt with cake, cards and presents on my birthday and went out for a meal with my family. The day after, my boyfriend took me up to London where we took a wander round South Kensington - such a beautiful place, and so many instagrammable locations! We went to the Natural History Museum, I hadn't been there in such a long time so I felt a trip was long overdue. After dinner, we went to the Piccadilly Theatre and saw Jersey Boys which was amazing. I've seen many things in the west end but this one I hadn't ticked off yet so I was so happy to have seen it! My parents then took myself and my family away for the weekend to a lovely hotel in Tewkesbury. The weather wasn't great so we couldn't do that much, but we definitely made use of the pool, steam room and sauna!

Anyways, on to todays look, and oh my goodness how amazing is this dress?! I fell in love with the back as soon as I saw it, as mentioned in a previous post, backless items seem to be my thing at the moment. This dress is simple and elegant but the strappy back makes things a whole lot more interesting, it is also super comfy to wear. Again, I have styled it up with my gorgeous New Look heels to give an overall glamorous look.
