Petrol Snakeskin

Hey Lovelies

If you have seen my Instagram you will know that I am absolutely in love with these double strapped heels from Missguided. I have had my eye on them for a while but managed to restrain myself, until they went into the sale that is. The are so pretty and different to anything I have seen before, they will go so well with so many different outfits. No doubt they will be making numerous appearances on my blog!

My love affair with In Love With Fashion never ceases so today, I styled these beauties up with my ILWF playsuit that was also in the sale and an absolute bargain! (currently out of stock but also in mint and apricot). The colour is pretty and will go with so many different accessories. I wore this outfit out for my housemate's birthday and teamed it with my New Look belt. I was so comfy in this outfit all night and I definitely can't wait until summer when I can wear playsuits more often!

Lots of Love

Pink To Make The Boys Wink

Hey Lovelies

I wanted to get this post up last week as a little V-Day inspo' but unfortunately I ran out of time so it had to wait until now! Matt and I stayed in a hotel Friday to Sunday and had a really lovely and chilled weekend; being at uni can often get quite busy and stressful so it was so good just to get away from it all for a little while. Also, apologies for the lighting, I just couldn't get these pictures taken at the right time!

Onto the outfit! I absolutely love a bargain (who doesn't?!) so I was super pleased when I found this top and skirt in Primark. Pink and fluffy is the best combination, especially when they are so comfy too. This is a very girly look and that is why I love it, plus the top and skirt work well separately too.

The lovelies over at Online Avenue have sent me these beautiful Tianna peep toe sandals and I really like them. They are super comfy and because they aren't particularly high, they add a touch of class to an outfit. Although I have found them a little tricky to put on and take off as the strap is a tiny bit too big for the buckle so it is a bit of a pain, although not the end of the world. I also don't have anything like these Online Avenue heels so they are adding something to my wardrobe. They can easily be paired with some jeans to dress up an outfit, equally they would be ideal if you are looking for some shoes to wear to work as they are so comfy. Online Avenue have some really lovely shoes and dresses so it you're looking of an outfit, I definitely recommend them!

Hope everyone had a good Valentines Day!

Casual Dressing

Hey Lovelies

I have had a crazy stressful week this past week and I don't think it could have ended sooner! Stresses with coursework and placements, issues with our house, and our letting agent just being a total arse have kept me bogged down and looking forward to the end of my second year! It's not all bad though, my boyfriend is taking me to Toby Carvery for lunch today and I have an exciting few weekends coming up, plus lots of lovely things to blog for you.

I really love wearing dresses but most of mine are really dressy so I wanted to invest in one that could function as more of an everyday-wear, suitable for going to lectures in etc. This cable knit textured dress from one of my favourite shops Pretty Little Thing does just the job. It's super comfy to wear and actually pretty warm, while the material feels sturdy so I can still wear it in the cold English winter.

It is also really versatile so you can keep it simple with boots and a leather jacket, or you can dress it up by just adding a few accessories and a pair of heels. I opted for these Carmen boots from Public Desire which I am absolutely loving at the moment.

On a kind of related note, I am so happy at the number of sales that are still going on and it is so hard to stop myself from shopping everyday. Unfortunately most sales are ending soon so if you want a bargain you'd better get in there quickly! My favourites have been Public DesireIn The StyleIn Love With FashionMissguided and Topshop.

Anyways, I hope you like this look!

Burgundy and Black

Hey lovelies

I'm a massive fan of crop tops and this high neck crop top from New Look is no exception. It is the perfect top for parties and events, and that's exactly what I thought when I wore it for New Years! This is pretty much the outfit I wore that night - with a few alterations - and I can say it was comfy, easy and it looks good, without actually making too much of an effort.

I have teamed it with my new black ripped jeans from MissPap which I have had my eye on for such a long time. They are skinny, while the material is stretchy so they hug all the right places in all the right ways. They are also great for dressed down outfits too, which I will definitely be doing for lectures. My Missguided boots have also made another appearance here because they go so well.

Sorry for the lighting, I wanted to get the pictures done in the light but the sun couldn't decide whether it wanted to be out or not!
