White Christmas

Hey lovelies

This post marks the end of my Christmas and NYE feature and I thought I would sneak one more outfit in just before the New Year, in case you were still undecided with what to wear for your NYE celebrations.

Of course I had to finish with a sparkly number, and this bodycon style dress is perfect for the Christmas festivities. It gives the look of a bodysuit and a skirt, while it is actually all one piece which I love. And the beautiful silvery, pinky look of the sequins on the skirt are absolutely gorgeous. I went for some nude heels and a white bag to keep in line with the neutral tones through the outfit, and to keep the main focus with the sparkles in the skirt.

As my final post in 2015, I hope you all have had a great year, a wonderful Christmas, and I wish you a happy new year! I look forward to seeing where my blog takes me in 2016!

Christmas Sparkles and Tasseled Heels

Hey lovelies,

I hope Santa brought you everything you wished for, and you all had a really wonderful Christmas Day yesterday and are having an equally great Boxing Day today! I spent the day with family, eating, drinking and being merry :)

I have another festive outfit for you today, and I'm hoping to get another one up before New Years, and yes, I have more sequins! This is such a gorgeous sparkly dress and it has such a lovely fitting, hugging all the right places. I was a bit worried that the sequins were going to be itchy as some con be, but luckily the lining inside covers all the necessary places. I also love the length of the dress as it hangs perfectly, suitable for family gatherings and Christmas parties. These shoes are also really gorgeous as the are subtle and smart, while the tassels adds a bit of sass.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Jump Into Christmas

Hey lovelies

I finished work on Friday and drove home last night, so now I am definitely in the Christmas spirit! I am super excited for Christmas this year and as promised, I have a few sparkly festive outfits for you over the Christmas and New Year period.

You will probably have some Christmas do's and celebrations with family, friends or work coming up, and this jumpsuit works in every occasion. The black trousers bring the sophistication, while the hint of gold in the top makes it a perfect party piece, plus the backless design is so pretty. And this look wouldn't be complete without some glittery golden heels and a matching cute clutch bag.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Earthy Tones

Hey lovelies,

So this is my final blog post with the pictures from the Peak District and I've got major holiday blues, looking back through the pictures just makes me wish I was back there again! But it's not all bad as Christmas is fast approaching and I'm getting so very excited!!!! Starting from next week I will be blogging some more party looks to hopefully give you all some inspiration for this wonderful party season, New Years especially - I'm hoping to get some ideas from it too.

This look features very earthy tones which are very in this AW, and I obviously had to get khaki in. These jeans are ever so comfy, they fit very well but they don't restrict your movement at all, which I find irritating with jeans. And these khaki heels are absolutely gorgeous, and surprisingly easy to walk in, so they will definitely be making a few appearances. I thought that the small lace detailing on the top worked really well with this outfit as it makes it more girly and different.

Finally this coat. It is the comfiest, warmest, snuggliest coat I think I have ever worn, and it still looks classy. The material is so soft, the colour is beautiful and will go with most things, and it is just the perfect length. If you are only going to buy one coat this AW, make it this one!

Faux Fur and Suede

Hey lovelies

Welcome to my new blog! I have changed the name as I feel that it makes it more personal, and it reflects my blog a lot more. It is now 'JessicaLouise' and you can find it at www.jessicalouiseblog.com - although the old url web address will still work for the moment. I also have plans to update the layout but that won't be happening until Christmas.

Onto today's post! I am a massive fan of the statement faux fur jacket, there have been so many around this AW so I have been really keen to get some up on my blog! As soon as I saw this adorable jacket, I knew I had to get my hands on it.

It's such a beautiful blushed nude colour, meaning that styling this jacket is super easy - especially when it's as comfy and cosy as this one. These neutral tones look so gorgeous when teamed with this tan suede skirt, and the colours are brought out so well with black. Also, how amazing are these knee high lace up boots?!
