Holiday Style Diary | Tropical Vibes

I have a bit of a soft spot for jumpsuits and playsuits and my collection is forever growing. This jumpsuit is one of my favourites as the pattern is so pretty and girly and the material is really comfy. It was just the right kind of material that made it comfy and good quality, yet I could wear it in Greece and not overheat! The tropical print has definitely been popular over the summer so it wasn't long before the palm print made an appearance in my wardrobe! I dressed this outfit down with flipflops, however, swap that with heels and you would be able to wear it for more dressed up occasions. I teamed it with a black belt and my gorgeous Boohoo clutch bag.

My sister also fancied featuring in my pictures and on my blog so here you go Em! Not that you can see it particularly well, she is wearing a New Look dress which she has worn a fair amount so it is versatile and long-lasting.

My jumpsuit is from Boohoo - here

My belt is old but probably from New Look

My flipflops are Primark

My bag is also from Boohoo - here

Hope you like this look!

Holiday Style Diary | Croppin' Coral

Holiday Style Diary 3! This one was kinda like a location shoot as we were spending the day in Lindos (a traditional Greek village/town) which was fun as I'd never done a location shoot before. It was extremely hot so a crop top and shorts was a must, especially as we were doing a lot of walking! My family laughed at me when they saw what shoes I was wearing, however, when it came to climbing over rocks and just generally walking loads, they turned out to be the right choice. If you have read any of my other recent posts (such as this or this) you will know that I am very much in love with these shoes!

Crop tops and bralets have been very much in this summer season, and I will forever have a love affair with coral, so when I saw this bralet, it didn't take much persuasion for me to purchase it. The material has a soft and comfortable feel to it, and despite the heat, I was safe from any sweat patches *phew*.

These denim shorts (like in my recent posts) are also really old and I have worn them so much, yet they don't show any sign of ageing or breaking which is fantastic. They also pretty much go with everything so are probably one of my favourites. We were planning on going to the beach at Lindos so I needed a bag that would fit my swimming stuff, as well as my camera in. I took my New Look bag which you can either have on your shoulder or use the smaller straps as it gave me more options, and it was big enough for all my stuff but if you pull the drawstrings, it makes it a lot smaller.

My bralet is Boohoo - here

My shorts are from New Look

My shoes are from River Island - here

My sunglasses are 4 from a market in Rhodes

My bag is from New Look

Holiday Style Diary | Pretty Tile Print

I'm back for my second Holiday Style Diary and this look is pretty similar to my last one (see it here). Printed camis are very popular at the moment and this one from New Look is one of my favourites. The blue and pink tile print is really pretty and girly and the material feels of good quality. Quite a large quantity of my clothes are from New Look as they are affordable yet last such a long time - for example my shorts, I have had these for such a long time but they don't feel worn or old.

I wore my Primark flipflops again and brought out my new Boohoo clutch bag which I have been dying to use. For my hair, I simply pinned it back either side and just let the rest fall.

My top is from New Look - here

My shorts are also from New Look but are really old!

My flipflops are from Primark

Holiday Style Diary | Bright Lights and Neon Nights

Hey guys, I'm back from my holiday! Thus begins my little series called 'Holiday Style Diary'. Whilst I was away, I took quite a few outfits, and pictures in those outfits, for me to share with you. I will also be away in Tanzania for the whole of September so I will be scheduling some posts so you'll never know I'm gone! Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

This is my first outfit, and quite fittingly, the first outfit I wore on holiday. We had arrived at our hotel quite late so we only had time to change quickly before we were rushed into dinner so I just threw something easy on. Excuse my shiny face, I had just spent 4 hours on a plane then half an hour in a taxi with no time to sort my face out! It was also pretty hot. This was the first time of taking blog pictures with someone behind the camera which took a bit of getting used to. I couldn't take my trusty tripod so my Dad stepped up and took all the pictures for me, thanks Dad!

I don't think the camera properly picks out how bright this top is as it definitely looks a lot brighter in real life. Although the colour scheme in shops has largely been pastel, neon has really made a comeback this summer season. I absolutely love this neon top from New Look as it is so simple and pretty, yet so versatile. Pair it with sandals and denim shorts, like I have here, and you have a chilled out and easy look, however, team it with some skinny jeans and heels and you have a smarter outfit to go out in.

My hair (you can't really see but I can describe it to you anyway!) is tied in a topknot with two plaits in the topknot and two in the rest of my hair. As I was travelling, I wanted to have my hair off my face (long hair can be a tad irritating at times) but to also look girly so I tried out this new hairstyle and had no problems with it whatsoever.

My top is from New Look here

My shorts are also from New Look but are really old so I can't find them anymore

My flipflops are from Primark

Travelling Style

I am super excited because I'm going on holiday tomorrow! Yay! This means that I am spending today sorting through all my clothes to try and decide what to take - and I won't be surprised if it doesn't all fit in my suitcase, that has happened before! I also wanted to share with you the outfit I shall be travelling in. And in case you hadn't realised, I won't be blogging for a while but don't worry, I have lots of plans for posts for when I'm back!

Since I will be on the plane for 4 hours, I have to be wearing something as comfy as absolutely possible, so jeans are out, but as I am going to Rhodes (Greek Island, the same place as last year - see the post here) it can't be too warm. I have, therefore, settled on leggings and an oversized top. I have rolled the sleeves up and tied a knot in the side to add a bit of shape to the top. The material of the leggings is pretty thin but still feels of good quality and has a grey and white tie-dye pattern to them, almost looking like clouds! The shoes I am wearing are extremely comfy (see my previous blog post here) and seem pretty perfect for this occasion.

I keep my makeup super super simple when travelling so my skin is able to breathe and I often tie my hair back as it can get annoying after a while!

Anyways, I hope you like this look!

P.S. You may have noticed I have had a bit of a change-up of my latest blog posts, this is because i keep changing my mind over how I like the layout! I'm very indecisive!

Chunky White Sandals

If you follow me on Instagram, you will have seen that I recently purchased these gorgeous white sandals from River Island. I had mentioned them in my Summer Wishlist post (see it here) and so when I spied them in my latest shopping trip, I simply had to have them!

I wore them on a day trip to Brighton beach with my boyfriend, which was a tad risky as wearing new shoes and doing lots of walking is usually a bad idea - I took some dolly shoes just in case! However, I have come to the conclusion that these are, quite possibly, the most comfiest shoes I have ever put on my feet! The straps hug your feet nicely whilst the platform and block heel provides a sort-of cushioning.

I love this look as they are sandals so can be worn casually, but the flatform style means that they can also be dressed up. White is also very good for summer (highlights your tanned feet!) and they are really easy to clean too.

You will definitely be seeing these featuring on my blog frequently! I hope you like them as much as I do!
