Pretty Little Thing Mint Love

I absolutely adore pastel colours so I was super excited when this mint playsuit from pretty little thing arrived in the post! This chiffon playsuit sits so well, it has a sophisticated feel about it. I feel like I could wear it for a posh event and fit right in, equally, it would work at a more casual event paired with some dolly shoes.

I feel so girly wearing this, I love it! I wore it with my nude new look heels. I have my eye on some absolutely gorgeous white heels but unfortunately I can't afford them *sad face*.

I hope you like this look!

You can get the playsuit here!

Tropical Simplicity

This is one of the outfits I took to Crete with me and absolutely loved it! I am a bit obsessed with pastels at the moment, I think they are simple and pretty yet have a way of jumping out at you, so there's no wonder I've ended up with this skirt. The tropical pattern on the crop top is absolutely gorgeous and goes perfectly with the skirt - I bought them together in case you were wondering. It is also very versatile so pairing it with shorts or jeans would also look good. The shoes I've had for a while but always make an appearance in the summer. Wedges are perfect for this time of the year, after all, you don't want your heels to sink into the grass at barbecues! The floral pattern is very in at the moment so these shoes work perfectly.

I love this outfit because it is simple yet elegant and works day and night.

The skirt, top and shoes are from New Look, my necklace is from H Samuel and my bracelet is from Chamilia.

I am changing up the locations of my blog posts, partly to make it more interesting for you lovelies, but also to find the best place so you can properly see what I'm showing you!

Anyways, I hope you like the look.

Until next time, live, laugh and love and enjoy all the little things in life

New Look Jumpsuit Love

I have spent today clearing out my wardrobe, because currently, getting anything out or putting anything in is an absolute mission! My problem is, I love my clothes too much and there's no possible way I can bring myself to get rid of any! My solution? Get a new wardrobe? Unfortunately I don't have space for another one so apart from the few items I can bring myself to parting with, I'm just going to have to struggle on.

During my -not-so-successful- clear out, I found some clothes that I used to adore, including this jumpsuit. It's from New Look and I got it for Christmas a few years back. I used to wear it for as many occasions as possible, until the Spring/Summer arrived and I moved on to brighter clothing. I know this outfit is very Autumn/Winter so it must seem strange for me to post about it now, however, if you paired it with bright shoes, jewellery and a bold bag, it would be worthy of those slightly chillier English Summer evenings.

This jumpsuit is just so versatile, depending on what you accessorise it with, you can wear it to casual events as well as posher, smarter events.

My jumpsuit (belt included), bag and shoes are all from New Look, while my necklace is from Topshop.

I'm hoping to do more posts like this as it gives me a chance to share the outfits I love and also play around with my camera a bit more, I hope you enjoy!

Until next time, live, laugh and love and enjoy all the little things in life

Crete | My Little Slice of Paradise

Just over a month ago, whilst we were still at uni, my boyfriend and I decided that it would be really lovely to go on holiday together during this summer. We chose Crete because it wasn't too expensive, was far enough South that the weather would be good, and we knew that the Greek islands were lovely places to visit. I've previously been to Greece mainland and Kos and Rhodes islands so I knew we weren't going to be let down. So the 5th of June came around and by lunchtime, we found ourselves lying on sunbeds with a tasty cocktail in our hands. Because we went quite early in the year, there weren't many kids around the apartments and in the pool so it was nice and quiet. We booked through Thompson because they offered flights and coach transfer with the accommodation. Doing this was a very good idea as it meant we didn't have to worry about sorting that all out ourselves and everything ran very smoothly, although, it could have been cheaper if we had booked directly with the place. Here are some of the photos we took during the week!

Matt was impressed with my camera's zoom so we were trying it out!

We were staying at a place called Ourania Apartments and it was such a pretty little place. The staff were all really friendly, our little room was exactly what we needed, and it was less than a 5 minute walk away from the beach and tavernas and restaurants.

We spent most of our time on the sunbeds by the pool, however, we did venture down to the beach most days for a paddle and a stroll along the waters edge.

On one day, we booked ourselves an excursion to Chrissi Island which is just off the south coast of Crete. It was absolutely stunning, with white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. We pretty much just spent the whole day sunbathing or swimming in the sea (which wasn't too cold!)

On our last evening, we went down to the beach and watched the sun set and it was absolutely stunning (and rather romantic I must add).

It was one of the best weeks I've had, just relaxing, calm and simple. There's not a single thing I would change about it, I just wish I was still there! It was just lovely to take a break from reality for a while. The views were stunning, the staff were friendly and the island itself was so pretty. I would definitely go back.

I am now writing this with post-holiday blues, looking at all the pictures and wishing I could go back there and experience it all over again. It won't be long before I'm planning my next holiday! I had such a great time!
